Michal Caspi, a contemporary jewelry designer and artist. Graduated her B.F.A studies in Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem and M.Des in Shenkar College of Engineering and Design in Tel Aviv.

 

"My work starts usually with the material. I collect from wherever I go things that curious me. Like a bank of materials, the right one pops out when the right concept is around.

Art jewelry has no boundaries. You can stretch the limits of the special relationship that exists between our body and different materials, and once and again you'll be surprised. A good piece of jewelry will convoy a spirit and saying only by materials and shapes. Like in any other kind of art – it will be interpreted differently by every individual".

Michal has been exhibiting her work in Israel as well as over the world.  Lives and creates in Tel Aviv.
